Our 1931 era, Royal Theatre and our adjoining building, the Dimond Annex, are home to live community events.  Our 288 seat capacity auditorium is a venue for live musicals, plays, concerts, featuring bluegrass, ragtime piano, vocal, and orchestra, magic and comedy. The Dimond Annex is home to community art shows.

Royal Arts Council Board commitment intentionally involves children and adults in the quest of creative excellence in community theatre and to expose them to performing artists and visual arts from the Midwest region. RAC programming is intended to provide family-friendly, quality entertainment while recognizing the value of the arts to our rural community.
